Viking Range Corporation was founded in 1987, when founder Fred Carl Jr. produced the first-ever professional style range for home use! Mr. Carl was looking for a professional style range for his own home, and unable to purchase one, he decided to do something about it; the rest is history and our kitchens have not been the same since!

In 2013, Viking became part of The Middleby Corporation, the largest commercial kitchen equipment manufacturer in the world.
